U.S. introduces two new high-performance hard-pack materials

Dow Chemical Company newly introduced several high-performance hard packaging materials, in addition to a good rigidity and toughness, transparency is also good. Among them, Inspire213 and Inspire215 are two polypropylene homopolymer brands, which have better rigidity and transparency than general polypropylene.

According to reports, Inspire213 thermoformed products have good transparency and gloss, heat resistance required for microwave and hot filling, short molding cycle, thinning of product thickness, and application to dry dishes and fresh food dishes. Inspire215 is an injection grade grade, has the heat resistance required for microwave heating and hot filling, and is fast in processing. The added filler has good gloss and light weight and is suitable for thin-walled molded food containers.

Polypropylene series has high transparency, rigidity and heat resistance and can be directly applied without blending with other materials or coating the surface with a high gloss layer. This type of material is particularly attractive to the sealing market.
