Carton pressure gauge operating procedures and precautions

Carton pressure tester is the most direct test instrument for verifying the compressive strength of cartons or other packaging containers. It is used to determine the compressive strength of products and can be used for carton holding and stacking tests. Mastering how to operate the carton pressure resistance meter is an essential technology for the carton production plant. What are the entire operational procedures and precautions? Kunshan Haida instrument technicians pointed out that four principles should be followed:

1. Precautions

1) Before using this instrument, you must read the technical specifications carefully to familiarize yourself with the circuit principles, operation methods, and precautions.

2) The instrument power cord should be a three-core power cord. The instrument ground must be reliably connected to the earth. Leakage test short circuit should be connected.

3) The instrument must be operated by a designated person. The operation must be performed on an insulating mat with an insulating glove.

2. Preparation

1) Check whether the instrument grounding is reliable before turning on the power and turn the voltage adjustment knob to the minimum position (MIN)

2) Select the instrument AC or DC working method according to test requirements

3) Select voltage output range: 0~2.5KV or 0~5KV

4) Select test time; timing or manual control as required (ambient temperature is 40°C, alarm current is 20mA, test time should not exceed 30 minutes. If necessary, it must work intermittently, interval time should not be less than working time) .

5) Select alarm current: According to test requirements, select the maximum leakage current of the test object.

3 instrument performance check

1) Plug in the current cable, turn on the power, and the power indicator is on, the digital display is "0". Press the start button should be able to hear the relay suck sound, adjust the voltage adjustment knob, digital display should have a corresponding change. When the timer time is reached or the reset button is pressed, the relay is released and the digital display drops to "0"

2) When the output voltage returns to zero after the timer time reaches the setting, the qualified indicator should be on. Press the reset button and the indicator light should be off.

4. Test

1) First, make the output voltage zero, and press the reset button to put the whole unit in the reset state and cut off the high voltage. Use a high-voltage output test line to connect the device under test to the instrument. The device under test should be insulated from earth ground. The common terminal of the instrument should be connected to the low end of the device under test.

2) Press the start button and the high voltage is switched on. Turn the voltage adjustment knob clockwise so that the output voltage reaches the set point.

3) When the test time passes to the qualified indicator light, the high pressure is automatically cut off, indicating that the tested part is qualified.

4) If the unqualified light is on, the high voltage is cut off and an alarm sounds, then the leakage current of the device under test exceeds the set alarm flow and it is a nonconforming product.

5) Press the reset button to eliminate the pass or fail signal.

6) When the test time is selected in the manual control, the test starts, press the start button, the test ends, and press the reset button. The fail indicator is off at this time. If the device under test fails, an audible and visual alarm is issued.

7) Care must be taken during testing to ensure that people who have nothing to do with the test are allowed to approach or touch the instrument.

8) At the end of each use, the voltage regulator must be turned down and even if the power is turned off.
