According to reports, the method is divided into two process steps. The first step is to dissolve bisphenol A, alkali, relative molecular mass regulators, antioxidants, and 100% catalyst in water to form an aqueous phase, with an organic solvent as the organic phase. The liquid phosgene or phosgene solution is added to the system and the interface is polycondensed for 10-20 minutes. The second step is to add the relative molecular weight regulator and alkali to the system and blow gaseous phosgene for 20-60 minutes. The whole process system has a pH>10, and no residual phenols precipitate out after acidification of the reaction wastewater. Comparing with the original one-step and two-step synthesis of polycarbonate technology, this method has complete conversion of bisphenol A, appropriate reaction time and good heat resistance of the product.
