Recently, Huiyuan's “True Orange” adverts “aseptic cold filling” as one of its selling points. This new concept of filling has been transmitted to consumers, and it has also contributed to the enthusiasm of “cold and hot” competition. The aseptic cold filling process procedure introduced by Huiyuan is to first sterilize the product, bottle and lid, and then fill it in a sterile environment. There is no need to add preservatives to the product, it can also maintain its original flavor and has a longer shelf life.
The traditional hot filling process has two methods: one is high temperature hot filling; the other is that after the low temperature filling, the product is heated to 65-75°C for pasteurization. Both of these methods eliminate the need to individually sterilize the product, bottle, and lid. Tetra Pak uses a hot-filling process that uses UHT UHT flash pasteurization to heat the juice to 95°C for 15 seconds. This process is simple, the production cost is low, the quality is easy to control, and the shelf life can be up to a year or so.
Therefore, experts believe that the two filling processes with different characteristics have sufficient advantages to seize their respective markets.
