The Royal Dutch Nectar Group mainly produces infant food and clinical nutrition products. From the special baby foods, breast-feeding mother's special nutrition products to children's bottled milk, Nymex Group has a wide range of baby foods. Under the clinical nutrition program, NewMike Group provides a full set of stomach tube nutrition products, liquid food products, clinical application technology, diet food and patient-specific food.
At the end of 2005, the Zoetermeer plant in Nutricia, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, launched three identical filling lines. These three production lines are used to fill 125-500 ml HDPE bottles and can process 24,000 bottles per hour. Krones AG of Neutraubling, Germany, was commissioned to coordinate the production line using the equipment management system and handle all equipment interfaces. In addition, all production lines must be connected to superior production planning systems via data transfer systems. Krones also installed a special LDS line diagnostic system and SIPS maintenance software. The order content also includes a full set of transportation technology and Accutable buffer stations for the three production lines.
Krones integrated the product data transfer function in the jaw conveyor. The operating instructions for the empty jaws and backing plates are issued by the central system to inform the forklift driver of the type of jaws or pads required. For the dry process section, Krones offers a Pressant Compact palletizer equipped with a new grid chain packet station and motor rotation device. The rotating device moves the sheet vertically, descends from the top to the grid, and rotates the four, six, or twenty-four packages according to the corrugated pattern. Square grids convey packages in a "walk-and-stop" mode of operation. With this technology, it is no longer necessary to replace and adjust the rotating device. It can directly process packages of different sizes and sizes. The fourth Pressant Compact palletizer from this manufacturing line is used for a parallel-mounted pouch packing line.
