Ice printing process during batik printing

Throughout the process of batik, the natural beauty of ice lines plays a pivotal role in the composition of the entire art. It can coordinate the layout and color of the pattern and add the artistic emotion of the screen. Therefore, two wax liquids must be properly adjusted according to the proper treatment of the ice grain position during design, and the temperature of the wax liquid is generally 120-140°C.

Since the wax has brittleness after cooling, naturally, it will produce fine cracking marks throughout the waxing process, which can be formed into strips, and can also form a network. In general, the classical decorative products should be deep in ice and modern art. Should use less or not, but in the figures, insects, flowers and other patterns if you lose the ice, then lose the wax of the main skeleton. Therefore, in accordance with practical experience with 40% beeswax + 60% paraffin matching, can get a better ratio.

At the same time, about 10 minutes after the wax is painted, the hand-folded fabric can also be used as needed to grasp the lightness and weight according to the density. In this way, the depth and breadth of ice lines can be partially or fully valued. The ice pattern in the wax enamel is an important decoration method in the batik, and it is difficult to achieve such a rustic, natural, and harmonious charm in any other fabric (except for the blue print cloth ice grain).
