According to the previous issue of [2018] No. 305, the pulp futures (transaction code SP) will be listed and traded from November 27, 2018. The auction will be held at 8:55-9:00 on the day of listing and will open at 9:00.
Trading hours are from Monday to Friday from 09:00-10:15, 10:30-11:30 and 13:30-15:00, continuous trading hours, Monday to Friday 21:00-23:00. No trading is allowed for consecutive trading hours on the first business day prior to the statutory holidays (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).
Pulp futures listing contracts are: SP1906, SP1907, SP1908, SP1909, SP1910, SP1911.
The first day of the pulp futures market will be charged at a rate of 15%, and the price limit will be 10% of the benchmark price. At the time of settlement, the trading margin will be restored to 12%, and the price limit will be 5%.
Recently, the market for domestic bleached softwood pulp is soft, and the price has been in a downward channel, and the decline has a tendency to expand. The mainstream brands of the outer disk are mostly quoted at 810-820 US dollars/ton. How will the future market impact after the listing of the futures? We will wait and see!
