Compared with the contact angle, the 12 of the 13 materials in the #1 ink had the highest angle, but the first 6 had only a few differences. The other materials are high, medium, and low. It is extremely difficult to supervise the maintenance of printing ink conditions and it is extremely difficult to average ΔE, ranging from 3.6 to 19.4. The staff is eager to maintain the color at 2ΔE, which emphasizes the importance of monitoring the pH and viscosity of the printing process.

Preparing to control the print job is just as important as maintaining the ink conditions. Pressure adjustment between a small roller/print plate or plate/material can change the color reproduction of the ink in excess of 1ΔE. Although all plates have been printed, not all plates can be used. There are three types of plates that print well after all ink changes: A, G, and M. If the printer only wants to use a printing plate, it is not necessary to use one of the three types. On the contrary, the printing staff may need to prepare multiple printing plates in order to cope with various variables that may be encountered in different printing services.

The conclusion of the test allows us to remain confident in certain variables (print, ink, paper, and press) in the printing industry. Fully preparing for the test is enough to avoid unnecessary loss after a lot of on-boarding. Frequently, many printers must try to solve these problems after they are ready.
